Key Dates

The online public engagement is being undertaken due to COVID-19 restrictions on gathering and Council meetings. The project website at Voices and Choices will include information on the proposed expansion and methods to ask questions, leave comments or contact a staff member for additional information. This project website and online engagement replaces the standard Public Information Meeting which would be held on a specific evening and provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed expansion. 

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 8:45 a.m. and is being held at Council Chambers for Council Members only, in person.  

Residents can give their opinions at Public Hearing by pre-registering to speak via Zoom with the clerk or sending written comments to:  Pamela Myra, Municipal Clerk, 151 King Street, PO Box 369, Chester, NS B0J 1J0 or pmyra@chester.ca. 

Comments must be received before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
