Hello Chester residents! We're Boardwalk Studios, a group of Dalhousie University Master of Planning students, and we're embarking on an exciting project with the Municipality of Chester. As the Province moves forward with replacing the Tancook Island Ferry with a new vessel that docks in Blandford, Chester is met with a significant opportunity to reimagine what the Tancook Island Ferry Wharf could look like and mean for the community moving forward. To reimagine the Tancook Island Ferry Wharf we aim to blend history, community visions, and the essence of Chester's waterfront to propose recommendations for the future of the site. As we dive into the rich tapestry of the Village's working waterfront, your input is the compass guiding our vision.
